Did you Know…. The Stained Glass Memorial Window is a tribute to a dedicated choir member, Joy (Milburn) Collins (November 30,1930 -January 19, 1980) from her family, the senior choir and her many friends, the window was dedicated on Sunday May 24, 1981. The artist who created the window was Riki Horodesky, who wrote these words:

“Joy Collins was blessed with a gift which she gave freely and generously, bringing joy to others. The window is a commemoration of love and respect, from her family, from the choir which she graced, and from her many friends.

“Visual arts, literary arts and music, “three Graces” interlocking and revolving.

Dedicated and determined and inspired, life bears the fruit of their gift. Pale gold represents physical and spiritual inspiration. Over all, the scene depicts an aura of reverence and joy, experienced, when we have given of our gifts.”
